This is so inspiring. I often forget that I can review and reset goals halfway (or anytime, I guess) through the year. I'm 35 and two months ago, I decided I'd like to run a 5k before my birthday, so now I'm sort of a runner (a really really slow one) and that's been a goal driving me all summer. The way you broke down big goals and smaller ones inspired me to write mine out similarly. Good luck to us all in our achievements!

Funny enough I wasn't even planning on this being a mid-year reset. It just kinda worked out that it is mid-year and I realized that as I was writing the post. Haha! I firmly believe you can reset at any time for any reason!

Congratulations on running! Running a 5k is a big deal. I've been playing with the idea of running, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. What's your distance like?

Re: skincare - I found that only the simplest of routines were ones I could be consistent with and stick to daily. Turns out my dermatologist’s recommendations were for a very basic and easy to follow AM and PM routine!

AM - splash with water, vitamin C serum, sunscreen

PM - cleanse, tret, moisturizer

I use cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer, prescription tret, truskin vitamin c serum from Amazon, and la roche posay sunscreen

Couldn’t be easier. I haven’t missed a day following this routine in over a year!

My routine is really similar. Sub Metronidazole for Tret! I love the La Roche Posay Foaming Face Wash and Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer. I have rosacea + sensitive skin and both brands work for me without breaking the bank.
